Today I took the bike through the marsh and ended up on the Winthrop side. What did I stumble upon?
A Great Egret enjoying the quiet. Take Off. If you look closely you can see the green around their eyes. A Red Winged Black Bird flying through the newly green trees. Greater Yellow Legs. Finding a new spot to land. A Cormorant taking flight from the water. My first ever sighting of an American Oyster Catcher. Such a neat and exotic looking bird. Cormorant enjoying the sun on this buoy. A pair of tree swallows staking claim on the bird house. Lots of action happening here.
