Frozen Marsh

As January goes on temperatures are dropping significantly and the marsh water has frozen over. The birds are trying to find the small melted areas for drinking and wading.

Trying to catch this Northern Harrier flying away.
Massive wing span.
Mockingbird hanging out on top of a leafless bush.
American Robin.
Is Spring on the way?
These geese are sitting in small areas of melted ice.
Isn’t that cold?
